Still believing. Still fighting

From the first day I enrolled, to the lessons of research methodology and academic writing, through the nerve-wracking moments of proposal defence, and now, as a PhD candidate approaching the final stretch of research. This journey has been far more than an academic pursuit.

It has tested my patience, challenged my convictions, and taught me to keep going even when progress feels painfully slow. I fell in love not only with the idea of becoming a scholar, but with the pursuit of knowledge itself, its struggles, its uncertainties, and its promise of contributing something meaningful to the world.

I may not have reached the finish line yet, but I am no longer the person who first began this journey and perhaps that is one of the most profound gifts of a PhD, it does not merely teach you how to conduct research; it transforms the person who dares to pursue it.

Still learning. Still writing. Still believing. Still fighting…until the work is done. In sha Allah. Amiin.
